When I am asked to mentor an art student, I ask them to tell me how they know if their heart is singing. If they can answer that question, then they hardly need my help. Students face complex modern life. To feel important, they must do important things rather than buy “important” things. If I can help them know this, and teach them to hear their heart singing, then I know they will build something beautiful with their life. I don’t think it matters what you wrap your life around. I think it matters how you undertake your calling, and how much love you put into it.
