United States Civilian Conservation Corps Old Forge Company Matchbook Sticker (MB33)
Everything about this matchcover is wonderful – the serene expression of the Corps cadet, the colors, and all that it meant they did for us with their work all across the US. FDR said, as he began the Corps as a national project, “…this type of work is of definite, practical value, not only through the prevention of great present financial loss but also as means for creating future national wealth.” They planted 3 billion trees. The people working in that program were paid $30usd a month; they were permitted to keep $5 and required to send $25 home. People worked outdoors, mostly hard manual labor, and lived in tented camps similar to a military operation.
The image you see is exactly what we use to produce your bespoke sticker. All stickers are custom made. (We include 1 free GypsyFaith sticker per order.)
All GypsyFaith die-cut vinyl stickers are printed on glossy, premium, extra thick vinyl. We then seal the image in clear laminate so that it will be particularly resistant to fading or tearing. We will only sell the absolute top end of any particular product on our site. Our intention, as we developed this product, was to make it as durable and valuable as our magnet products.
Images used to make our stickers are scanned at 9600dpi resolution, reduced to 960dpi for production.
