Tropics Does Something to Everybody Beverly Hills Matchbook Sticker (MB131)

This book has mystic properties, all drippy and dark with sexy, dangerous women. It’s a hugely popular matchbook. I drew every single flower by hand so it took forever.  This place was owned by Harry Sugarman, who arrived in the US and then opened places in LA that catered to motion picture people.  Many of his matchcovers show a monkey covering its eyes, and alongside that was the motto, “These characters represent a policy of the house.”  He had a celebrity themed drink menu with drinks named for Barbara Stanwyck, Ceasar Romero, and Lana Turner, among others.  I lived in LA for more than a decade, and this cover epitomizes all that’s wonderful about it.  You can be anything there.  LA is fanciful, ridiculous, dreamy, a place of power, and truly sexy.

All GypsyFaith die-cut vinyl stickers are printed on glossy, premium, extra thick vinyl. We then seal the image in clear laminate so that it will be particularly resistant to fading or tearing. We will only sell the absolute top end of any particular product on our site. Our intention, as we developed this product, was to make it as durable and valuable as our magnet products.

Images used to make our stickers are scanned at 9600dpi resolution, reduced to 960dpi for production.

It ships in a photo-type mailer to prevent bending.
