Thai Peacock Matches Matchbook Sticker (MB501)

Thai is such gorgeous writing.  We spent a very happy summer in a tiny little wooden beach house on stilts in Koh Tao Thailand.  Peacocks, though, remind me of Sri Lanka where they are wild.  When you drive on the one big highway in Sri Lanka, which we did the summer we spent there, you see these male peacocks all along the side of the highway, perched way up on the embankment, their magnificent tails draped gracefully down the sloping grass.  It was so enchanting to drive so many kilometers on a highway that was festooned with living peacocks.  On our family farm we always had peacocks in Athens, Georgia.  So we often found the gorgeous feathers.  But as the city grew up around the farm people complained because peacocks screech very, very loudly.  Alas, no more peacocks on our farm.

Images used to make our stickers are scanned at 9600dpi resolution, reduced to 960dpi for production.
