This woman is beautiful.  I love her scarf.  African women, where we live in Tanzania, have magnificent hair, and when it’s covered, they cover their heads with gorgeous complex twists and scarves.  Often if they are covering up loads of braids the scarved headdresses are very tall, making the woman even more statuesque.  I found this label in a wee shop in Lisbon, Portugal and I had to have it.  She’s too pretty not to celebrate.  Rum is a scary beverage for me.  When i was a kid I drank it, we all did, mixed with Diet Coke and my gosh what a hella hangover that alcohol produces.  I’m always keen, whenever we’re at the beach, to drink a pina colada, but I’m pretty conservative on the number!  This product is still produced and this woman still graces the label.
