Royal Bruce Burnett and Burnett Salinas and El Centro California Fruit Label Sticker (FL124)
I REALLY love the slogan here, “Do well and doubt not”. Those are certainly words to live by. The plaid on this label and then the flamboyant writing are wonderful. So properly, we’d call this tartan. In 1746 there was a law passed banning the wearing of tartans, which of course then encourage all good Scots to go right ahead and make it their national dress, insuring the survival of this pattern. It’s a perfect connection to attach vegetables to something as glorious and stern as plaid.
