Old Reading Pilsner Beer Matchbook Sticker (MB4)
Old Reading Beer was a Pennsylvania Dutch Lager beer. It was, in wintertime, often delivered by sleigh. When Prohibition began in the US a bunch of Old Reading Beer was dumped into the Reading sewers, immediately causing the manhole covers to blow right off the holes. Then the suddenly deemed illegal beer flooded the streets and residents came clamoring out with pans and pots to collect the free alcohol. It’s a cool cover. My father’s business was the beer business for most of my adult life – so I know a lot about beer. We sold Miller in San Antonio, Texas, and for a long time the distributorship was number one in the country – there were towers and towers of beer in the warehouse. It smelled like bread all the time. In summertime in Texas I’d sometimes duck into the keg room to cool off.
The image you see is exactly what we use to produce your bespoke sticker. All stickers are custom made. (We include 1 free GypsyFaith sticker per order.)
