Chevrolet 1957 Sweet, Smooth, and Sassy! Matchbook Sticker (MB 30)

These words – they describe a lot of my favorite women – so I love it that they’re being applied to a car.  The fins on these cars make me swoon. It’s terribly romantic to have all of that beauty wrapped into a car. SUCH a wonderful era for cars. I love this matchcover.  Plus…  those fins!  I know cars have to be more useful now, and lighter, but I remember my grandma kind of peering overtop the steering wheel of this massive, and I do mean massive, red sedan she drove.  The leather smelled good and when she signaled the car made that lovely tock, tock, tock noise.  I drive a beat-to-hell old Dodge truck with this hilarious camper lid on it which is too big for the truck bed.  We actually dug that camper lid up out of our cousin’s yard; she wanted it to go away.  So we strapped it onto our truck and there it has stayed.  It’s perfect. I adore all car matchcovers.  It’d been cool to ride in a car with fins, but that was before my time.

All GypsyFaith die-cut vinyl stickers are printed on glossy, premium, extra thick vinyl.  We then seal the image in clear laminate so that it will be particularly resistant to fading or tearing.  We will only sell the absolute top end of any particular product on our site.  Our intention, as we developed this product, was to make it as durable and valuable as our magnet products.

Images used to make our stickers are scanned at 9600dpi resolution, reduced to 960dpi for production.

SIZE:  This sticker is exactly 2.52 x 1.97 inches OR  6.401 x 5.12 cm (It is about the size of the original matchcover.)

It ships in a photo-type mailer to prevent bending.
