Bourne and Hollingsworth Oxford and Berners Street Matchbook Sticker (MB399)
Walter William Bourne and Howard Hollingsworth were brothers-in-law and started their retail business selling draperies together. The upscale store was famous for high-end retail goods, but equally famous for taking care of its female staff by providing them with a place to live in Warwickshire House. What’s really cool is that though this place no longer exists, a woman’s who worked there had a son, and he opened a bar nearby and named his place for the place that treated his momma so well. How cool is that!? LOVE places that love women! I saw this and immediately thought that when this matchbook was in a pocketbook it probably smelled of tobacco and perfume and rattled around alongside lipstick in a metal tube.
The image you see is exactly what we use to produce your bespoke sticker. All stickers are custom made. (We include 1 free GypsyFaith sticker per order.)
All GypsyFaith die-cut vinyl stickers are printed on glossy, premium, extra thick vinyl. We then seal the image in clear laminate so that it will be particularly resistant to fading or tearing. We will only sell the absolute top end of any particular product on our site. Our intention, as we developed this product, was to make it as durable and valuable as our magnet products.
Images used to make our stickers are scanned at 9600dpi resolution, reduced to 960dpi for production.
SIZE: This sticker is exactly 1.318 x 1.795 inches OR 3.348 x 4.559 cm.
It ships in a photo-type mailer to prevent bending.
