Bertrand Island Lake Hoptacong, New Jersey Matchbook Sticker(MB18)

Lake Hoptacong became a very popular resort destination in part because it was the very tail end of the railroad route through New Jersey.  It became a playground for celebrities and boasted its own Miss America pageant, the one that produced Bette Cooper as Miss America.   If you wanted to take a really great roller coaster ride, Bertrand Island was the place to go, as it boasted an enormous amusement park.

This reminds me of my own days on the Great South Bay in my grandfather’s tiny motor boat the Flipperling. It’s a joyous image; I feel exhilarated whenever I see it. Plus it conjures all kinds of great visions of some fabulous little getaway in the Jersey backwoods.  It’s so wonderful when you’re smelling air and water and there’s so much wind – and the trail of froth behind the boat.  Lots to love about this.

All GypsyFaith die-cut vinyl stickers are printed on glossy, premium, extra thick vinyl. We then seal the image in clear laminate so that it will be particularly resistant to fading or tearing. We will only sell the absolute top end of any particular product on our site. Our intention, as we developed this product, was to make it as durable and valuable as our magnet products.
Images used to make our stickers are scanned at 9600dpi resolution, reduced to 960dpi for production.

It ships in a photo-type mailer to prevent bending.
